- Had nice day recuperating and chilling with Daddy at home. While at home with Daddy, she managed to pretty much feed herself a bottle. Way to go, Miss Independent.
- 6 month checkup at doctors. Currently at 18lbs, 5oz (89th percentile), 26.5 inches (80th percentile), and a big whopping 93rd percentile for head size. Head size is only percentile to be slowly growing. This is the way we know Summer is truly our child (HEEEEAD!!)
- 6 -- yes, I said SIX-- vaccinations. Yikes! Relax-- H1N1 and seasonal flu included, everyone. A strong girl, she is.
- Survived the car running out of gas in the left-hand lane of Lawrence Expressway. No thanks to Mommy for ignoring the low fuel indicator, but a big thanks to Daddy for successfully maneuvering to the shoulder! Mommy created many vaccination pain diversions by turning the back of the minivan into a pseudo-discotheque, complete with strobe lights while waiting for the tow truck.
- Getting her first two teeth. Whilst 'singing' during the vaccinations, Daddy confirmed Summer's first two teeth. Our gummy grinned girl's mouth will soon be filled with tiny white teeth. Goes to show how strong she was that her only sign of teething was-- well-- teeth. :)
